Alumnae of Color Conference: April 16-18
Join us at the Alumnae of Color Conference: April 16-18
Are you looking to reconnect with amazing Smith alumnae of color? SAAC is definitely looking to do so! That’s why we are going to Legacy in the Making: A Conference for Smith Alumnae of Color from April 16-18. The program will cover issues of women in color in leadership, cultural identity, LGBT identity, professional development, self-care, and national and global issues such as education, politics, and the economy. You don’t want to miss this!
Partial scholarships are available. Please contact Betsy Hopkins at bhopkins@smith.edu
The whole event starts with a fabulous keynote by Smith Professor Paula J. Giddings speaking on Friday, April 16. On Saturday night, we will have the opportunity to connect with current Smith students of color as well as prospective students of color during a dessert reception at the Alumnae House. The event ends on Sunday morning with a panel on self-care, an issue we all care about very much!
